  • The Executive met on February 24th to discuss the budget, both funds to be spent by March 31st and those for 2010/2011. Sub-committee budgets will now be discussed at every other Steering Committee meeting so the Committee is kept informed about spending and to avoid the rush to ensure funds have been spent a the end of the fiscal year. Kim suggested Lori keep a running 'wish list' so ideas are in place in case extra funds are available. It was agreed that the Committee needs to be more pro-active in spending and budgeting and more accountable to each line in the budget.
