Review of last minutes meetings
Business arising from the review of last meetings minutes
|
- Minutes were reviewed from the last meeting, delete Gale Cole from 'regrets' as she was present.
- 'Memorandum of Understanding/Case Protocol' - Karen advised case protocol is already addressed on page 106 of the QACCAV Protocol; Kim clarified that the committee was looking towards having case workers work closer with each other to avoid the events that happened in BC as outlined in the conference in Hamilton earlier this year; this involves mostly high risk cases where charges are not involved. Teresa has been in contact with the speaker from the conference in Hamilton and will advise; committee would like to have someone come in to speak about Case Protocol/Conferencing.
- Kim advised her letter regarding Chris Mallette's column was sent to the Intelligencer and published.
