Treasurers report: $20,929.71 in reserve.   How much budget to put into Protocol?  $1000.00 versus $8000.00.

Option A : Provincial Planning Forum

Executive funds for Administrative assistant

10% of executive budget to three Oaks $2735.00

Money aside for provincial planning forum

Membership $1500.00

Education $5849.00

Protocol $8000.00

Option B

Protocol $10,000.00

Reserve for provincial planning forum

PEC Protocol: concerns with distributing money with no meetings and nothing in writing.

Spend budget on: planning forum, no goal for PEC with no results from last years budget.  Should spend what they all ready have.

 

Using option A: Protocol - $8000.00

PEC or Social Action $500.00

Membership packages, membership wishlist, please let us know if you know anybody.  New member handbook for October.

Protocol:

Central & South Hastings: 4 items on Protocol.  OPP conference in Kingston to put on conference.

 

Bill 168 – not sure how to proceed.

Working with sexual minorities.

Virtual website with more interaction – start costs.

Social Action Committee

Nothing to report.

Community Updates

Ashely:Next Monday memorial for Catherine McFicker at base chapel.

Planning family violence in October big name to draw people Jackson Cat is to costly.  Asking for potential speakers.

Sarah: Provincial Planning forum November 7-8th Sheraton Toronto Airport.

Representation from the QCCAV – as many volunteers as possible.

Anyone wanting to present please get this to Sarah before the 24th of June.

Compare committee survey need to 2 – 3 people to attend.

Lisa: moved to Ramanda Business Center 2nd floor.
